It is another successful year for IEEE UAE Section. The membership in the section grew by approximately 19%. This positive movement is reflected in almost all grades. The total number of members, however, is still below the exceptional level of the year 2007. This can be traced to the dramatic drop in student and associate members. I see the numbers as a potential for this section to grow further.
