Currently, there are 13 student branches across the section:

United Arab Emirates University was founded in 1977 and IEEE Student Branch was established at the Faculty of Engineering on the 20th of November, 1993.

American University of Sharjah was founded in 1997 and the IEEE Student Branch was established in the year 2000.

Khalifa University of Science, Technology, And Research (KUSTAR) was founded in 1989 and the IEEE Student Branch was established in the year 2003.

HCT Abu Dhabi Men's College was founded in 1988 and the Student Branch was established in the year 2005.

University of Sharjah was founded in 1997 and the IEEE Student Branch was established in the year 2004.

American University in Dubai was founded in 1995 and the IEEE Student Branch was established in the year 2005.

Ajman University of Science & Technology was founded in 1988 and the IEEE Student Branch was established in the year 2005.

IEEE Student Branch at BITS Pilani Campus, Dubai.

IEEE Student Branch at Petroleum Institute, Abu Dhabi.

Manipal University - Dubai

Michigan State University of Dubai, and the MSU Dubai Student Branch was established in 2009.
