•We have decided to hold a WIE event in conjunction with the 6th IEEE GCC conference 2011. We have invited WIE chairs from the GCC countries to help decide and to brainstorm all the preliminary details about the event. Also WIE from Jordan was invited along with WIE Committee members. •It was a great meeting to exchange experiences and ideas. We have encouraged the WIE chair of Saudi East to organize a WIE event during the EneryCon conference in December and offered to help.

•On the second day of the meeting, Dr. Boutheina Tlili presented the proposal to host a WIE Forum in conjunction with IEEE GCC Conference on February 19, 2011. This will encourage women to participate to the 6th IEEE gcc conference as well.

•Most of the day was spent brainstorming ideas about the different tracks of the Forum, guest speakers, keynote speaker ect.

•Emine Phillips was also invited to present PA Summit.
